2025 Granny Square Book Club Blanket

I’m kicking off the year with a fun project -- a 2025 Granny Square Book Club Blanket!

I'm crocheting a square each month that matches the cover of the book we’re reading in my book club (hosted by The Book Club Collective. By the end of the year, I’ll have read a lot of good books and will have a cozy throw blanket.

January's book is "The Perfect Marriage" by Jeneva Rose so I made an 8-round granny square with red, black, and beige.

Since I don't know what color each month's book/square will be, my plan is to outline the squares in several rounds of a neutral color to help tie them all together.
